Kerri Walsh Back on Tour
Pro beach-volleyball player Kerri Walsh, who won gold at the Beijing Olympics with Misty May-Treanor, is returning to the tour on Aug. 6 in Hermosa Beach, California. She had planned to take a year off to have a baby, but now that her son is more than two months old, she is itching to get back into action.
"I thought I was going to be able to take a full year off. I thought I would enjoy the downtime, and I have. But I found some really good help that I trust. We're going to be able to hang out with [baby] Joey and hopefully have it all," she told the AP.
