$1,000,000 in Buried Gold Can be Yours
From March 25-28, 2010, grizzled prospectors and city slickers alike will have the chance to dig up $1,000,000 worth of gold in the hills and scrub around San Antonio. The Texas Gold Rush Adventure (and Music Festival, this being Texas) aims to conjure the spirit of the 1800s, though you won't have to worry about shootouts and holdups. Registration and ticket sales begin today, and there's room for only 5,000 golddiggers. Check out it here.
