The New York Times swoops to the rescue yet again with 11 debunked health and wellness assumptions. My favorite: 2nd-grader wisdom overturned, as scientists spend untold sums of money to prove that the five-second rule is patently false. Who would have guessed that bacteria don't give a wayward M&M a several second breather? Other groundbreaking finds include double-dipping not as bad as you think and married people receive more oral sex. Now that's research.
