Ladies and gentlemen, please tie your running shoes. Racing the Planet's Namibia 2009 footrace is underway and 214 international competitors are running 155 miles unsupported across the Namib desert with all they need to survive borne upon their bony runner's backs. The race is part of the 4Deserts series, taking racers to China, Egypt, Chile, and Antarctica.
