Everest: Hahn's New Artifacts

During a rest day for the First Ascent team, Dave Hahn and crew discovered four oxygen bottles buried in a glacier above advanced base camp. They placed the age of the bottles at between forty and fifty years. There's great footage of Hahn breathing hard while "Goraking" (hunting for) climbing artifacts and telling stories about the discovery of Mallory's body

In other Everest news, four teams reported reaching 21,500 feet at Camp 3 and Sherpa teams are busy shuttling gear between camps. Weather conditions remain favorable with slight winds.
