Hurry! Pick a Cause! Climb the Times Building!

Yet another ambitious activist summited the Times building this afternoon and in nearly the same fashion as the first—no rope, thinly veiled publicity stunt, eventual arrest, etc.

At first the folks inside thought he was a window washer, then a pervy Peeping Tom. Finally, they discerned that he’s actually just a run-of-the-mill, unoriginal malaria-awareness activist.

Turns out, he was so inspired by climber number one that he rigged himself a “Malaria No More” top out of a dirty t-shirt and scaled away, smiling all the while. 

No one’s amused anymore. A Times spokeswoman said the climbers are acting irresponsibly and jeopardizing the safety of curious passers-by.
