McCain Will Fight Global Warming
Let's hold him to it, folks. John McCain has promised that, if elected, he'll seriously fight climate change. Speaking at a Portland wind technology plant earlier today, the Republican presidential nominee said he'll seek international accords to cut down on greenhouse gases, set specific goals on emissions reduction, and start an incentive system for green businesses.
In a dis on W., McCain said he would not 'shirk' his duties towards the environment. "I will not permit eight long years to pass without serious action on serious challenges," he said, according to a story in Reuters. Eight years? I call that counting your chickens before they've hatched.

"Eight years? I call that counting your chickens before they've hatched."
Don't you think he was refering to the eight years of the Bush administration?
