Bode Miller Wins Again
Bode Miller won his second overall World Cup Title in four years when his closest rival declined to ski in one of the season’s last slalom events. While Miller, who recently split from the U.S. team to train solo, declined to chat with reporters at the finish-line, his coach expressed relief that the win was guaranteed before the final race. "I am very happy I don't have to drag this all the way to the slalom and chew my fingers off watching him try to bring home the bacon in the slalom," he told The Associated Press. Miller’s last victory came in 2005, following Outside’s cry for Bode-deification and just before we offered him a man-hug.
