Google's Green Making Green
And while Google is fueling the idea of sending yourself to the moon, it isn't exactly ignoring the need to fuel modern life - and Internet search engines - on this planet either. At the end of November the company unveiled it's RE<C program, which is setting out to develop energy from renewable sources at a cheaper rate then energy derived from coal. Bold, sure, but according to an online article by the Nature Publishing Group, which produces the journal Nature, Google's investment is just one of many recent, private investments made in California's newest gold rush, or rather Green Rush.
