Help Find Steve Fossett!

There's a fresh batch of satellite photos of the area where Steve Fossett's plane disappeared. Unfortunately, computer technology hasn't advanced to the point where pixels can be recognized for a particular airplane, intact or otherwise. To solve this and other similar processing problems, Amazon.com turned to crowdsourcing: Break the digital images into tiny pieces and have the general public comb over them yard by yard. The program is called Amazon Turk. Here's the link to the Fossett project. It will be totally sweet if people find him this way but kind of makes you wonder whether Fossett has stock in Amazon.    —Grayson Schaffer
